  • Importer Page for Adobe Campaign: this template lets you import a ZIP file containing an HTML file with content that you will then be able to personalize.

Messages and templates

Adobe Campaign offers numerous functionalities to allow you to send messages via several different channels, particularly emails and SMS messages.

Integration with Adobe Experience Manager concerns emails in particular and allows you to create and send content that is personalized and more relevant to your audience.

In addition to editing content, Adobe Campaign allows you to precisely define the target population of your email and measure the impact that the email in question has with the use of tracking logs and reports.

Each new email created with Adobe Campaign is based on a predefined template. By default, the existing template is not configured for importing AEM content. Therefore, you must have already created a template specific to AEM content.

You can create an email template from the Resources > Templates > Delivery templates, accessible via the Adobe Campaign logo. The import AEM content functionality will be enabled if you define the Content source as Adobe Experience Manager and select an AEM external account in the template properties.

List of contents available for the import

The contents available in your AEM instance can be sorted using different filters in the import window.

You can see if the contents have been approved, already imported into another email, etc.

After the content is imported

You cannot edit an AEM content in Adobe Campaign if it is linked to the email. When importing a content, it is automatically linked to the email. If you want to make changes to your content, edit it directly in your Adobe Experience Manager instance. Once you have integrated the changes, use the Refresh button in your Adobe Campaign email to see the changes taken into account.

You can also use the Remove link button to delete the link between the content and the email. The imported content will then be modifiable but your changes will be lost if you link it to a content again. In addition, the changes made to the content in AEM will not be taken into account.
